Title: Online Land Auction in Western Montana Enters Final Weeks, Draws Buyers from Across the Country
MISSOULA, Mont. – With just two weeks to go until the bid deadline for the largest online land auction in Montana’s history, buyers are gearing up to make competitive bids on 28 heavily discounted properties located from Missoula to the Idaho border. The auction, hosted online by the LFC Group of Companies, has drawn interested buyers from over a dozen states across the country, as well as nearly 3,000 unique hits to the website.

Missoula’s Al Dunlap of Regent Realty, who has partnered with the online auction marketing experts at LFC, cites the diversity of properties offered, ranging from home sites in St. Regis and Huson Heights to large acres of development land at Fish Creek on the Alberton Gorge, as the reason for such a wide range of interested buyers from across the country.

“It’s not just the size of this auction, although with 28 properties and a total combined suggested value of nearly $17 million, that certainly draws some attention,” Dunlap stated. “It’s the fact that there is really something for everyone, whether you’re looking for a single home site to build your dream home, or have grand plans for a large residential development project.”

This auction includes numerous large parcels of land, such as ±65 acres in Rattlesnake Canyon and several properties at the mouth of Grant Creek. The largest property in the auction is Royal Elk Meadows, consisting of approximately 271 acres of land along the Alberton Gorge at Fish Creek. This property has the potential for any number of developments, from residential subdivisions with high visibility to a secluded, expansive ranch.

In addition to these large acreage sites, the auction also features a dozen prime riverfront home sites in St Regis ranging from half an acre to just over an acre in size.

The minimum bids for all 28 properties are at least 70 percent less than the previous asking prices.

“Even in a down market characterized by a surplus of inventory, buyers are ready to pounce when they see an opportunity like this to name their own price in a fair and transparent auction process,” said LFC’s Director of Operations Ryan Devin.

This auction offers an unprecedented level of convenience for buyers. Instead of spending hours cramped up in a crowded ballroom, interested buyers can view property photos, aerial images and other due diligence materials, as well as place bids, all from the comfort of their home or office by visiting LFC.com/907R3. The bid deadline is July 29th, 2010.
